But despite the title of this cartoon having the word "bully" in it, I have not set out to create some anti-bullying message. This (having a toy taken by another child) has happened to my daughter on several occasions, just as it probably has to most children. And working out "What Would Pickles Do?", was the only aim of this story. Pickles is a teddy, so he's very small and he can't talk - but he is very thoughtful and insightful. So, having worked out why the bully took the car (i.e. because he wanted it) - Pickles decides to make something else seem more appealing instead. This is meant to be a family cartoon for children aged 2-5. So, toddlers and infants. The music is based on classical pieces that I was listening to at the time that seemed to fit. 10 points for guessing which ones! ;) Please watch our other Pickles cartoons. They cover all the themes you would expect in the kids genre, but from Pickles' unique perspective and approach. I'm from a Scooby-Doo and Road-Runner background! I think young children should be exposed to the same principles of working things out and being crafty and sneaky if the situation demands. It can't all be fairy stories. Pickles is big on education though, and his App - "Pickles Maths for Kids" - is really useful for kids 4+ who are learning their addition and subtraction. Plus ... people buying the app is the only source of funding for these free-to-watch videos, so ... you know ... hint, hint? Thanks everyone Mike Beverley http://www.picklesadventures.com
